Low-cost water level sensor is necessary for a large scale deployment of water level management in many fields. However, there are some technical problems to implement low cost and precise water level sensor because of the sensitiveness or costly measurement circuit. We propose a low cost and precise water level sensor using simple TDR system by feeder lines and Charge Time Measurement Unit (CTMU) available in a mass-produced microcontroller.
