In recent years, the demand of wireless power transfer has been drastically increasing, as it paves the way for wide variety of devices. However, this fact means the requirements imposed on sender/receiver coils such as the size and characteristics are becoming more varying. Adopting thin-film coils which are thin, space-saving, and bendable is an effective choice for small devices, and hence facilitates popularization of wireless power transfer. By utilizing the double-sided thin film coils for wireless power transfer, we will cut more “last cords” for the wireless future coming true.
